Prayer Shawl Ministry
This is a new ministry where we come together on Monday evenings in the Fellowship Hall to crochet. Most of us are beginners, but thankfully we have some experts in the crowd to teach us. As we crochet, we pray for the person who will receive the shawl. The completed shawl is placed on the altar and blessed during the Worship service, then delivered. To date we have completed 43 shawls.
Out Gamewell Way
Each month we set aside a Wednesday evening for food and fellowship. The menu varies but is always delicious. We begin the drop-in meal at 5:30 and end an hour later. This meal is open to the community and donations are accepted to help offset the costs.
