Garrett Brown is a native of Concord, North Carolina, and has lived in North Carolina his entire life. He went to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington for his undergrad where he received a bachelors in Creative Writing, graduating in December of 2010. Garrett has been called to ministry for most of his life, but ignored it for some time to peruse a dream of becoming a fiction novelist. When that didn’t come into fruition, he worked a variety of jobs in various areas such as retail, the food industry, and Pest Control, which was his last career path before finally answering his call to ministry. Garrett is currently a seminary student at Hood Theological Seminary, where he will receive his Masters of Divinity in May of 2021. In his free time, Garrett loves to watch Football and Basketball. He is a life long sports fan. Garrett also enjoys reading, watching movies, eating good food, and spending time with his wife Marjorie and step daughter Nevoley. Garrett has loving parents and a brother who also has a family which Garrett loves deeply. He is the second member in his family to pursue a career as a pastor in the United Methodist Church and he hopes to have a long, fruitful ministry. He has a deep relationship with the Lord, loves to talk about Jesus, and is very humble by the grace God has poured into his life.
